Terms

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator name and address] (“Kaddoh”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using kaddoh.com you agree to them. If you have questions, contact privacy@kaddoh.com.

What Kaddoh is

Kaddoh is a perpetual birthday calendar: you keep track of birthdays, receive email or SMS reminders you configure, and can invite people to exchange birthdays with you. Kaddoh is currently in beta — some features are still in development and things may change as we improve the service.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials safe — you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • One account per person, and you must be at least 13 years old.
  • You can close your account at any time; your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Your content and other people’s details

The birthdays, notes, and other content you add remain yours. You give us permission to host and process them purely to provide the service to you.

Because your calendar contains details about other people, you confirm that you are entitled to add them — add people you actually know, use invitations genuinely, and respect it if someone declines or asks you to remove their details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Kaddoh for anything unlawful, or to harass or impersonate anyone;
  • send bulk or unsolicited invitations (spam);
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the service;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the service, or access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide.

Reminders and messages

Email and SMS reminders depend on third-party networks, so we cannot guarantee that every message arrives on time. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. You can change or turn off reminders at any time — and while we work hard to be reliable, please don’t make Kaddoh your only safeguard for a date you cannot afford to miss.

Availability and changes to the service

We provide Kaddoh with reasonable skill and care, but as a beta service we may add, change, or withdraw features, and there may be occasional downtime for maintenance. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms — where practicable we will warn you first and explain why. You can stop using Kaddoh and delete your account at any time.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Otherwise, we are responsible only for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, and — Kaddoh being a free service — we are not liable for business losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (including a reminder that does not arrive or a missed occasion).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Kaddoh evolves. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use Kaddoh after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live.

Kaddoh is currently in beta.
